John Maloney, Jr., LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage & Family Counselor. John earned his Bachelors in Psychology Social at Quinnipiac University and was awarded his Masters’ Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy by Saint Joseph College.
John Maloney joined us in 2011, moving his own private practice in Southbury into our AFCCenter. He brought to us his varied professional experience: Clinical Site Coordinator for Boys’ and Girls’ Village, Inc., in Bridgeport; Clinical Supervisor and Outpatient Clinician for Waterbury Youth Services’ Juvenile Redirection Program; ADHD Clinician at the Child Guidance Clinic of Waterbury; and Clinical Coordinator at the Center for Human Services in Stratford.
Working with clients in both our Danbury and Cheshire offices, Maloney serves children, teenagers, adults, and families with an array of services, and offers his specialization in serving clients with post-traumatic stress disorder, survivors of sexual abuse, and addictions.
